Part 5 - Healing

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

In this episode The Reverend Ron Herbert reflects on healing and miracles as he continues his journey with the realities of cancer. What does it mean to pray for a miracle? How do we pray when someone is ill or struggling?

Ron, yet again, articulates his deep rooted faith in a God who loves us and walks with us and says '...please also bear in mind that God who knows the beginning from the end and has a much broader concept of healing, and we do knows what's best.'

Our prayer is that this series of reflections will have been a blessing and an encouragement as we each journey through this life. But we are very aware that these conversations touch on sensitive and difficult subjects.

Part 4 - Real Hope

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Reverend Ron Herbert reflects on the reality of Jesus Christ's resurrection and its significance for Christians. Ron affirms that Jesus' resurrection gives us a living hope, one that overcomes despair at any diagnosis and even death itself.

Through the resurrection, we witness the ultimate demonstration of God's power and love. It assures us that even in our darkest moments, God is unfolding a greater plan, leading to life and restoration.

The resurrection is not just a historical event supported by the gospel accounts; it is the foundation of Ron's faith and the most plausible explanation for the events following Jesus' crucifixion.
